AUBURN — John F. Murphy Homes will be holding a ticket raffle on Saturday, Oct. 20, at Central Maine Community College, Turner Street. Doors open at noon and the drawing begins at 2 p.m. Winners must be present to claim prizes. All proceeds go to support John F. Murphy Homes’ Navigator and Life Center programs.
Area businesses have donated more than 300 prizes, including gift certificates, tickets/admissions passes for various events and an array of merchandise, such as clothing, books, gift baskets and more. Among the big ticket items are a Land Rider auto shift bike with indoor trainer, handmade quilt, $100 cash, Toro 18-foot electric snow thrower, garage door opener, birthday party rental at Ingersoll Turf Facility, one hour of ice time at Norway Savings Bank Arena, North Country Rivers White Water Rafting for two and more.
There will be a 50/50 raffle. Food, refreshments and snacks will be available. Cost for tickets is $5 for 20, $10 for 40, $20 for 90 or $50 for 250, and can be purchased at the door.
