Melissa Simones Landry would make an outstanding Androscoggin County commissioner. She is a mature young lady who is knowledgeable about the area and has always promoted the positive reasons to live and work in this county.

Landry has an excellent background in both government and the private sector. She has worked as an aide to Sen. Susan Collins and as an executive assistant to the president of the Chamber of Commerce, both positions in Washington, D.C.

She returned to Lewiston to work for the state Senate as the policy director. She is now employed by the Maine Auto Dealers Association.

She has all that experience, along with the ability to listen and think through a problem to arrive at the best solution.

I would be remiss if I didn’t also state that Melissa Simones Landry is my granddaughter.
