Fair accepting crafters and vendors
BUCKFIELD — Crafters and Vendors are now being accepted for the Nezinscot Valley 2018 Holiday Fair to be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 1, at Buckfield Junior Senior High School.
The cost is $20 for a 6×8 foot space; student groups, $10. Groups must supply their own table. There will be live music throughout the day, complimentary coffee in the morning and lunch options available.

Public meeting about road construction
AUBURN — A public meeting will take place at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 23, at Rolly’s Diner, 87 Mill St.
The City of Auburn is holding a meeting to discuss roadway corridor improvements on Mill, Main and Broad streets from the Main and Mill streets intersection to the intersection of Broad Street and Riverside Drive. Work will include roadway and intersection improvements with new pavement, drainage, curbing, sidewalk improvements, lighting and landscaping.
Representatives of the City of Auburn will be present to present the preliminary recommendations for the project, listen to concerns, receive comments and answer questions from anyone with an interest in the project.
Accommodations will be made for persons with disabilities. Auxiliary aids will be provided upon advance request.
