PARIS — The Outreach Team for the South Paris Baptist Church has chosen the theme Salt and Light, based on Matthew 5:13-16, for its Missionary Conference, Friday through Sunday, Oct. 26-18.

Nursery will be available for all services, with the exception of the Ladies Tea.

Friday’s program starts at 6:30 p.m. with the Youth Group participating in the service. North Canadian Evangelical Mission’s Kevin Strout will present his ministry of spreading light to First Nations People in New Brunswick. Children from kindergarten through fourth grade will meet with Doug Twitchell during the message and meet with a missionary with Christar.

Saturday activities will begin with a Ladies Tea at 10 a.m. Jeannette Lindsey of Child Evangelism of Western Maine will share about his work with children of Oxford, Franklin and Kennebec counties. No nursery will be available.

On Saturday at 6:30 p.m. Wanda Meisner of His Hands Support Ministries will share about light brought to several countries. Children in kindergarten to fourth grade will meet with Dannette Benoit and be introduced to Kevin or Marcia Strout during the message.

On Sunday, Sunday School will start at 9:30 a.m. Teens and adults will join to learn of ministry of a missionary serving with Christar. Younger children will have Sunday School classes and preschoolers will have a nursery.

The 10:45 a.m. worship service will be a celebration of Christmas in October. Retired Avant missionary Larry Strout will present a closing challenge from the Word of God. Children in kindergarten to fourth grade will meet with Lindsey and will be introduced to Meisner during the message.

The conference will end with potluck lunch.
