NEWCASTLE — Bri Jordan scored two goals as Gray-New Gloucester coasted to a 6-0 triumph over Lincoln Academy in a Class B South girls’ soccer preliminary game Saturday evening.
The Patriots led 4-0 at the half. Laurel Thomas, West Duffy, Emma West and Jordan Grant also found the back of the net for Gray-New Gloucester.
Sandra Thelander made four saves for Lincoln Academy, while GNG’s Chelsea Davis stopped two shots.

YORK — The eighth-seeded Wildcats (8-6-1) built a 3-0 halftime lead and defeated the ninth-seeded Raiders (8-7) in a Class B South boys’ soccer relim Saturday.
Lucas LaBelle put York ahead about 12 minutes into the match. John Bychok and Alex Neilson scored later in the first half.
York advances to play at top-seeded Yarmouth (12-0-2) in the quarterfinals Tuesday.
