I write to show support for Jim Theriault for Oxford County sheriff. I have known him my whole 52 years.
Theriault’s integrity, honor, selflessness and work ethic more than qualify him for the job of sheriff. He has 40-plus years of experience in law enforcement, ending his time recently as chief of police in Mexico.
Through the years, I have come across people who have actually had the displeasure of being arrested and yet they acknowledged that Theriault was one of the nicest officers they had ever dealt with, despite their situation. I have never heard a bad word spoken about him — ever.
Oxford County needs a man like Theriault. I encourage residents to get out and vote for the most qualified candidate for sheriff of Oxford County — Jim Theriault.
