New thinking and fresh ideas are needed in Augusta. Party ideology and special interests haven’t served the public well. People must focus on long-term challenges and not get stuck in trade-off thinking. Economic and environmental issues can co-exist. Health care and financial security need not conflict. Short-term savings and long-term investment are each necessary.
