Catherine R. Wilson

1936 – 2018

SABATTUS – Catherine R. Wilson, 82, peacefully passed on Oct. 22,2018 in the company of her family at her daughter’s home in Lisbon Falls.
Catherine was born in Harpswell on Jan. 1, 1936 to Edmund and Mabel Ricker. She was one of sixteen children. She spent many years working in Sabattus at Webster Rubber followed by a career at Philips Elmet, retiring in 2001.
Catherine had many interests including her daily crossword puzzles, gardening, bingo, playing cards and spending time with her sisters, children, and grandchildren. She was a member of the Lakeside Chapter #60 of The Eastern Star.
She is survived by her daughter Karen Atwood and her husband Dennis of Sabattus, her son Emery Sawyer and his wife Amanda of Brunswick and her daughter Laura Slyk of Lisbon Falls, her grandchildren: Alyson Parent and husband Chad of Lisbon, Jason Lessard and wife Patti of Worcester, Mass., Sandra Flint and husband Peter of Topsham, Heather Sawyer of Massachusetts, Ian Sawyer of Brunswick, great-granddaughter, Amelia Flint and many nieces and nephews.
At Catherine’s wishes there will not be any services.
