Nelson Peters has had a career in public safety, retiring from both the Lewiston Police and as the deputy chief of the Androscoggin County Sheriff’s Department. Being a former Lewiston city councilor, he wants to continue his public service as a state senator.
Peters will support policies that will bring jobs and greater opportunities. He will also be an advocate for taxpayers, invest in education and get back to the basics of affordable health care.
The district needs a state senator who will listen and make informed decisions that will benefit Lewiston.
I have known Peters for many years and he has always impressed me with his enthusiasm, caring about others and the ability to find common-sense solutions.
I encourage Lewiston voters to join me in voting for Nelson Peters for state Senate on Nov. 6.
