LEWISTON — Community Credit Union presented Safe Voices with a check for $500 on June 8 to help supply its food pantry at its shelter.
Safe Voices offers support for those affected by domestic violence through offices in Farmington, Lewiston, South Paris/Norway and Rumford. The offices provide one-on-one support, support groups, children’s services, advocacy, information, referrals, court advocacy, transportation and accommodation for shelter, community education and professional trainings.
Community Credit Union participates in the Maine Credit Union League’s initiative known as the Maine Credit Unions’ Campaign for Ending Hunger.
