Free Veterans Luncheon at Green Ladle

LEWISTON — The Auburn Exchange Club will be hosting a free Veterans Luncheon again at the Green Ladle on the campus of Lewiston High School at noon Friday, Nov. 9.

All active duty and veterans are invited and may bring a guest. Program features a buffet-style meal provided by the students and staff of the culinary school. In addition to the lunch, there will be a guest speaker, as well as other surprises.

Veterans Day observance at veterans monument

LEEDS — There will be an observance of Veterans Day at 11:30 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 11, at the Leeds Veterans Monument in Leeds Center, corner of Route 106 and Church Hill Road. The public is welcome to attend.

Society to honor veterans

MINOT — The Minot Historical Society will honor veterans at 11 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 11, at the Minot Memorial Stone at the Town Office.

Democrats next meeting at Poland library

POLAND — The next meeting of the Mechanic Falls/Minot/Poland (MMP) Democrats will be from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 13, at the Ricker Library in Poland; program will be announced.
