Tina Louise Green

February 24, 1964 – October 25, 2018

Tina Louise Green, 54, of North Turner was surrounded by her loving family when she received her angel wings and went home to the Lord on October 25, 2018. Tina bravely fought a fierce 10-month fight with Glioblastoma, a rare brain cancer and throughout her journey, her smile was constant as she inspired those around her and stayed positive right until the end.

Tina lived her whole life in Turner where she lovingly raised her only son, Joshua Mason and helped to raise her beloved grandson, Parker Mason. While Tina most loved spending precious time with her grandson Parker, she had a real zest for life and truly loved life and all people. To know Tina was to love her and be drawn to her contagious laugh and unique ability to make people smile; to give generously and forgive always. Tina had a way of making others feel good, even to the very end of her life.

In 1982, Tina graduated from Leavitt Area High School and Central Maine Community College earning her degree in Early Childhood Development. She worked at Kid’s Camp Learning Center in Turner and then as an Ed Tech 2 at Greene Central School where she was beloved by staff and her “littles” as much as she adored them.

Tina also had a sense of adventure and loved to ride her Harley Davidson Street Glide. She belonged to the Eagles Club in Gardiner, Maine and the Chrome Angelz RC a national all-women’s motorcycle riding club that was a sisterhood to Tina. For ten years, Tina was a big supporter of the Camp Sunshine Ride to Sugarloaf Mountain to benefit Maine children with serious illnesses.
