New Beginnings staff and volunteers help artist Ned Castle install his mural from his HIGHLOW Project on the side of the Lewiston Public Library on Thursday. Castle, reaching into the pail, photographed youth served by the Vermont Coalition of Runaway Homeless Youth programs over the course of one year. His photographs depict re-enactments of high and low moments in each youth’s life. Steve, shown in these two photographs, is one of nine young people photographed for the HIGHLOW project. The photographs of the youth not shown here in the Park Street Alley can be seen at L/A Arts on Lisbon Street during the month of November, which is Runaway & Homeless Youth Prevention Month.
