BRIDGTON — Gallery 302 is showing Conversations, an exhibit proposed six months ago as an artistic and fun opportunity for Bridgton Art Guild members.
Artists willing to take the challenge — 10 in all — submitted new work, put their names in a hat, chose another artist’s name and made a work that responded, in some way, to the work of that artist.
What might inspire a response? Maybe brilliant color, an appealing theme, a dynamic composition, or possibly a triggered memory. The artworks are paired in the exhibit so the viewer can see the original work and the work inspired by it.
The gallery is at 112 Main St. The show runs through Dec. 4. Hours are 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekends. For more information, call 207-647-2787 or visit gallery302.com.

Pieces by Molly Main and Joan Bellucci are part of Gallery 302’s exhibit Conversations on display until Dec. 4. The gallery is at 112 Main St. in Bridgton.
