Kennedy lost her husband, Mike, in January and raises her two grandchildren on her own. “We were going to stay home and have a sandwich or something,” Kennedy said. Now, Kennedy and her grandchildren will have turkey, stuffing, potatoes, green beans and apple pie, thanks to Brezovsky. “It does not take much to think of others,” said Brezovsky, a mother of two. Kennedy has had custody of her grandchildren since 12-year-old Jerimiah Bernard, second from right, was a 1-year-old. “We don’t care,” Kennedy said of not being able to celebrate much over the holidays. “We have each other.
