NORWAY — St. Catherine of Sienna Church will host a free Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 22, dinner in the parish hall of St. Catherine of Sienna, 32 Paris St. Area residents are invited to gather for the dinner which will begin at noon.
 
For reservations, contact the parish office at 207-743-2606 or sign up on the sheets in the narthex of St. Catherine of Sienna or Our Lady of Ransom Church in Mechanic Falls. There are also sign-up sheets for donations and volunteer shifts. 
 
 
BETHEL — Bethel Alliance Church will serve a community supper from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 28, at 251 Walkers Mills Road, across from the Telstar parking lot. It’s the last one for this year.

PARIS — The Fire Department Auxiliary will hold a public supper at 5 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 1, at the Paris Fire Station on Western Avenue in South Paris.

The menu will include baked ham, potatoes, veggies, bread, mac & cheese and assorted homemade pies and desserts. Consider bringing a new, unwrapped toy to donate to the Christmas for Kids box.

Cost for the meal is $8 for adults, $4 for kids ages 4-12 and children under 3 eat for free.

WATERFORD — There will be a baked stuffed haddock supper from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 1, at 5 Keezar Road Church, just off Route 35 in North Waterford.

There will also be side dishes and homemade pies for dessert. Cost is $10 for adults and $5 for youth 6-16, with kids 5 and under free. Proceeds go to benefit the North Waterford’s World’s Fair.  

SUMNER — A Community Casserole Supper will be held at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 1, at the Congregational Church of East Sumner, 50 Main St./Route 219, East Sumner Village.

Salads, Christmas cookies, punch, coffee and raffle items will be available. Donations are accepted to benefit church outreach.

LITCHFIELD — The Litchfield Sportsmen’s Club will serve its monthly public supper and music jam Saturday, Dec. 1at the clubhouse on Hallowell Road.

Doors open at 4:30 p.m. The baked bean and casserole dinner will be served from 5 to 6 p.m., and the music jam will play from 6 to 8 p.m. Admission will be $7 per person.

The clubhouse has plenty of free parking and is handicapped-accessible.

FARMINGTON — Trinity United Methodist Church, 612 Farmington Falls Road, will hold a public supper from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 1.

The menu includes baked beans, casseroles, salads and homemade pies.

Cost is $8 for adults, $4 for children under 12.

DIXFIELD — Adventist Community Services has moved its free community dinner to 58 Pine St. Dinners are served from 4 to 5:30 p.m. the last Monday of the month.

Use the handicapped entrance on the right side of the building.
