Mildred F. Small
1933 – 2018
AUBURN – Mildred F. Small, 85, of Auburn peacefully passed away on Wednesday Nov. 21, 2018. She was born in Topsham on Sept. 17 1933, the daughter of the late Nancy and Richard Harrington. She grew up in Topsham and attended local schools. She married Donald F. Small Sr. on Jan. 27, 1951, had three children together and was later divorced.
Mildred was a hard worker all of her life. She will be remembered as a strong and independent lady with a loving, kind heart. She loved socializing with her family and friends, doing crossword puzzles, reading and shopping.
Mildred is survived by her three children, Diane Giguere, Donald F. Small Jr. and James M. Small; four grandchildren, Steven and Jim Small, Shawn and Jason Giguere; three great-grandchildren; Heidi, Haley, Lilly; two brothers, Robert and David Harrington and her sister Mary Freve. Announcement of funeral services will be published in the near future with date and time.
