PARIS — Oxford County commissioners have approved a 5 percent raise for Deputy Director of Communications Geff Inman because his boss is on medical leave.

Inman has been in charge of the Oxford County Regional Communications Center in Paris since Director James Miclon has been off the job.

“Since Jim has been out, Geff has been serving as acting director of the communications center,” said Abby Shanor, executive assistant to County Administrator Tom Winsor.

The pay increase was approved Nov. 13 by Chairman Steve Merrill of Norway, Tim Turner of Buckfield and David Duguay of Byron.
