HOLYOKE – Dianna D. Bergeron, 73, passed away peacefully Nov. 28, 2018, at Holyoke HealthCare Center. Born April 17, 1945, in Lewiston, she was the daughter of the late Rosario and Catherine (Poirier) Bergeron. Dianna moved to Holyoke, Mass. in the late 1960s where she resided until her death.
She was an avid crafts person. She volunteered her time to many events and craft shows throughout her years. She was part of the PTO committee of OLPH school, Golden Gloves and Bingo at the Holyoke Boys and Girls Club, knitting scarves and hats for cancer patients at HMC, made baby blankets and hats for the NICU at Baystate Hospital and was the Treasurer for Elmwood Towers Association. She worked and was well known at Fish & Chips, Pizza Palace and retired from Tyco HealthCare. She traveled late in life but took her most memorable trips to Alaska, Puerto Rico and a cruise to Mexico.
Shes leaves six children, (predeceased by one son); 16 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; three brothers and three sisters.
Forever grateful to Ann Marie, Armando, Steven and Moe for being there during her final days. Special acknowledgment to the staff at Holyoke HealthCare Center for the care she received and the support from New England Hospice. Services and arrangements will be private.
