Whichever way the wind blows … so blow those on the left.

President Donald Trump is standing firm on the border wall. He has publicly stated he will shoulder the blame for a shutdown if the left won’t give him the $5 billion to build it. The left is blowing in the wind — as always.

Chuck Schumer is on record as saying, “Illegal immigration is wrong, plain and simple.” Not so much now, I guess. What changed?

Hillary Clinton said, “I voted numerous times, when I was a senator, to spend money to build a barrier to try to prevent illegal immigrants from coming in.” Thankfully, nobody is listening to her now.

Barack Obama said, “We simply cannot allow people to pour into the United States undetected, undocumented, unchecked and circumventing the line of people who are waiting patiently, diligently and lawfully to become immigrants into this country.” Unfortunately, he still has millions of fans.

Nancy Pelosi said, “We do need to address the issue of immigration and the challenge we have of undocumented people in our country. We certainly do not want any more coming in.” That was in a rare moment of mental clarity, perhaps?

The wind is blowing hard from the left against anything Trump. It is obviously not anything about protecting this country. I wonder, which way is the wind blowing for the rest of the country?
