JAY – Ina Myrtie Burdin Smith, 82, passed away at home in Jay with her family by her side. She was born on Aug. 13, 1936, and was the next to the oldest of 13 siblings. She was the daughter of Jesse and Margurite Burdin of Cambridge, Maine. She is survived by her husband, Perley Smith and her children, Russell Smith and wife, Sue of Wisconsin, Vickie Braley and husband, Robert, of Livermore Falls, Pamela Smith of Cambridge, Maine, Jeff Smith and wife, Tracy, of New Hampshire.

She was predeceased by a son, Duane Smith. She was very devoted to her family and loved the visits from her 11 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren, which she adored. The family would like to thank the Androscoggin Home Health and Hospice for all their support during her failing health.
