LEWISTON — The Lewiston School Department, the Lewiston athletic department, and the boys’ and girls hockey programs plan to formally honor individuals who serve the Lewiston community.
Saturday, Jan. 5, will be Lewiston’s annual “A Night to Honor Those Who Serve” as the boys’ and girls’ hockey teams host the Cheverus Stags at the Androscoggin Bank Colisee. The girls game starts at 6:20 p.m., while the boys play at 8 p.m.
All military, law enforcement, firefighters, EMT’s and their entire families will receive free admission to both games. Prior to the start of the boys’ game, at roughly 8 p.m., there will be a small ceremony to honor those who fill these vital roles in our community and nation.
This event is also co-sponsored by Pedro O’Hara’s Restaurant of Lewiston.
