ZEPHYRHILLS, Fla. – , of Jay and Zephyrhills, Fla., passed away peacefully with her loving husband of 54 years and her oldest son with her for comfort at a Florida Hospital in Zephyrhills,  Fla. on  Dec. 25, 2018.

She was born in Wilton on Aug. 18, 1946, a daughter of Reginald and Bertha Mosher, and was educated in Jay schools, graduating in 1964. She obtained her cosmetology license and instructors license in 1974.  She served as the first female President of the Maine Barber Board and was a lobbyist for the Board for many years. She was very active and worked in her profession until 1997, when she retired and focused on her family.

On August 22, 1964, she married her high school sweetheart, William Therrien. Together they enjoyed camping, family time and spending time at the ocean. A voracious reader, she was always working on several books at the same time.

She is survived by her husband of 54 years, William of Zephyrhills, Fla. and Jay; two sons, William Therrien, Jr. of Zephyrhills, and Shane Therrien of Boothbay Harbor; three grandchildren, Amber Griffith, Sean Therrien and Autumn Therrien; three great-grandchildren, Mason Griffith, Kaia Griffith and Naomi Griffith; her sister Judy Lane of North Jay, and her closest cousin, Sandra Snowden of North Jay.  She was predeceased by her elder sister, Marilyn Cook.

There will be a small gathering of family and friends for a Celebration of Life Service at the Wiles Remembrance Center, 308 Franklin Rd., (Rte. 133)  later in the spring.  Her family invites you to share a memory and a kind word of remembrance on her memorial wall at www.wilesrc.com.
