FALMOUTH — Caden Smith notched a natural hat trick to pace the Lewiston Blue Devils to 5-0 boys’ hockey victory over the Falmouth Yachtsmen on Tuesday.
Smith scored to make it 3-0 with 3:58 remaining in the first period as he finished off a feed from Ryan Pomerleau. Ridge Field also had assist on the goal. Smith then scored with 3:52 remaining in the second period, with Kurtis Pelletier and Willie Blanchette setting goal up. Damon Bosse set up Smith’s third goal 4:31 into the third period.
Sam LaRoche scored a goal and assisted on Michael Belleau’s goal.
Jacob Smith stopped all 13 shots he faced for Lewiston (7-0), while Sam Kidder made 41 saves for Falmouth (2-5).
