AUBURN – Jacqueline Bunker, 89 of Mechanic Falls went to be with the Lord on Friday, Jan. 4, 2019. She was born in Portland, on May 14, 1929, the daughter of the late, Clinton S. Stuart and the late, Wilma M. Briggs. Jacqueline gradated from Mechanic Falls High School and married Charles Ray Bunker. Together they had one son, Ronald R. Bunker. She was a homemaker for 21 years. In 1968 she went to work for Marcal Paper Mill and worked there, until their closing in 1982. In 1984, she went to work at Oxford marking, then Cornwall Wood Products. She retired in 1987. She enjoyed her home, working in her yard, family, and traveling in their motorhome. Jackie loved going to church, she attended the First United Pentecostal Church, in Lewiston. Both she and her husband agreed that you haven’t been to church until you’ve attended this church.

Survivors include her son, Ronald and his wife, Evelyn, of Minot; a granddaughter, Katie Ramsey and her husband, James, their son, Benjamin and two daughters, Madelyn and Allison of Louisiana; a grandson, Charles Bunker, of Lewiston, his children Camren, Ciara and Brandon; one sister, Donna King and her husband, Elliot, of Maryland; several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her loving husband, Ray; her brother, Robert Stuart; and her parents.

The family wishes to thank the staff in the Clare unit at Clover Manor and Margaret from Hospice for their professional and compassionate care during her stay there.

A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, Jan. 11, at the First United Pentecostal Church, 715 College St., in Lewiston, at 2 p.m. A time of visitation will be held one hour prior to the service, from 1-2 p.m., at the church. Interment will be at Gracelawn Memorial Park, in the spring.
