SABATTUS – It is with great sadness that the family of John Michael Parker, 68, of Sabattus, announce his passing due to complications from illness. John left this earth on Saturday, Jan. 5, 2019, with his loving wife of 43 years by his side.

John spent over 30 years as a carpenter and craftsman and enjoyed gifting many of his furniture pieces to his family over the years. John enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid fisherman, hunter and woodworker. He could often be seen smiling on his motorcycle cruising the open roads. He will be remembered most as a loving father, husband and grandfather with the biggest heart and most unique laugh.

He is survived by his wife, Kathy; son, Bear and his wife, Carrie Parker, and their children, Raven, Fisher and Drake; his daughter, Tracey and her husband, Leigh Stevens, and their children, Joshua, Luke and Abigail; and his son, Corey Parker.

Services will be held on Saturday, Jan. 19, 2019, from 1-3 p.m., at The Ritz Room, Ramada Inn, Lewiston, Maine.
