WILTON – Kristy A. Burns, 35, of Wilton, passed away peacefully on Monday, Dec. 31, 2018, at the Androscoggin Hospice House.

Kristy was born in Lowell, Mass. to Thomas and Millissa Burns on July 15, 1983. As a young teenager, she relocated with her parents and older sister to Poland, Maine. It was there that she attended high school and graduated in 2002. After high school, Kristy obtained her CNA license and spent some time caring for those in need. The caretaker role came natural to her and for that reason she was great at her job and found much purpose and fulfillment in her work.

Kristy later gave birth to two beautiful girls, Jenna and Bailey. She loved her girls fiercely and was a patient and attentive mother. She was always thinking up fun and imaginative ways to keep her girls busy and happy. Kristy was a warm, caring and gentle soul who would do anything for anyone. This, coupled with her passion for adventure and seemingly fearless personality was the very reason why she had a multitude of friends and family who loved being around her. She never took life or herself too seriously and found the good in everything and everyone. Kristy will forever live on in our heart, of many.

Survivors include her two beautiful girls Jenna and Bailey Durgin; her fiancé Paul Hill; her parents; her grandparents Cheryl Gower, Doris Burns, and Thomas Burns; and a sister Jennifer Boyce.

Visitation will be held at the Albert & Burpee Funeral Home, 253 Pine St., Lewiston, ME, 04240, on Saturday, Jan. 12, 2018, from 1 p.m. – 3 p.m. Liturgy of the Word at 3 p.m. Donations, condolences and a video tribute may be found online at www.Albert-Burpee.com.
