LEWISTON — Joline Bell has announced the upcoming trips for seniors and seniors at heart who want to travel without having to drive.
Day trips
Swansea, Massachusetts — Tuesday, March 12. Celtic Angels singers and dancers from Ireland will perform at Venus de Milo, followed by the Celtic Knight Dancers with the Trinity Band Ensemble of Dublin. Cost is $123 and covers both shows, meal, gratuities and bingo with prizes on the bus.
Lac Megantic, Quebec — Friday, April 19. Bellevance Sugar Shack in Lac Megantic will host a sugar party. Cost is $66 for breakfast brunch, transportation, gratuities, bingo on the bus with prizes and stops at the Fromage de Chaudiere and the large metro store.
Danvers, Massachusetts — Thursday, April 25. Davensport Yacht Club will present a concert by ABBA tribute band Dancing Dream. Cost is $107, all-inclusive.
Wrentham, Massachusetts — Sunday, May 19. The Edwards Twins—Direct from Las Vegas will perform at Lake Pearl. Cost is $121, all-inclusive with brunch.
Extended stay trips
Cape Cod and Martha’s Vineyard — Monday-Friday, June 10-14. Four night’s lodging, eight meals and stops at Martha’s Vineyard, Hyannis and Sandwich. The trips also includes visits to Provincetown and Chatham, including the JFK Museum and Sandwich Glass Museum, a stop at Eastham Windmill and more. Cost is $509.
Smoky Mountains, Tennessee — Saturday-Sunday, Aug. 31-Sept. 8. Travel by bus to Pigeon Forge. The nine-day trip includes transportation, eight nights’ lodging, 14 meals, admission to the Titanic World’s largest museum attraction, five shows at Soul of Motown, Smoky Mountain Opry, Magic Beyond Belief Show and more. Free time in Historic Downtown Gatlinburg and a guided tour of the great Smoky Mountain National Park. Also includes stops at the National Harbor, a unique waterfront wonderland, the Roanoke Farmer’s Market in Roanoke and a visit the Franklin d Roosevelt Memorial in Washington D.C. Cost is $809.
