BETHEL — There will be a community supper from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 30, at Bethel Alliance Church, 251 Walkers Mills Road, across from the Telstar parking lot.

FAYETTE — There will be a Keep Me Warm supper at 4:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 2, at the Fayette School.

Cost is $8 for adults and $4 for children. Proceeds from the supper goes toward community heating assistance for residents.

SUMNER — The Community Winter Cookout will be held at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 2, at the Congregational Church of East Sumner, 50 Maine St./ Route 219, East Sumner.

The menu will include hot dogs, burgers, salads, desserts, coffee and punch. There will also be a raffle of baked goods and household items. Donations are accepted for the meal. Proceeds benefit the outreach mission of the church.

MECHANIC FALLS — The Historical Society will host a supper from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 2, at the Mechanic Falls Tyrian Masonic Lodge 73, 474 South Main St., Route 11.

The menu will include ham and turkey with baked beans, mashed potatoes, dressing, rolls, coleslaw and homemade desserts.

Cost is $8 for adults and $4 for children 12 and under.

SABATTUS — The American Legion Harry J Conway Post 135 will hold its monthly Community Fundraising Breakfast at 7 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 3, at the post, 40 Island Road.

Breakfast will be served until 10. The menu includes eggs, French toast, chipped beef, panckes, coffe, orange juice and more.


Cost is $8 for adults and $3 for children under 10. The public is welcome.

NORWAY — The Second Congregational Church serves its free monthly supper from 5 to 6 p.m. on the third Friday of the month at 205 Main St.

LEWISTON — SeniorsPlus is offering a dining site designed to cater to the Somali community in the St. Mary’s Nutrition Center at 208 Bates St.

The public is invited to attend lunches there Mondays, except holidays, at 11:30 a.m.

Cost: $3.

NORWAY — Oxford Hills Area Association of Churches will serve the Norway Community Free Lunch at 11:30 a.m. Wednesdays at the Universalist Church, 479 Main St.

FARMINGTON — There will be a free Loaves and Fishes chowder luncheon from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Wednesdays through March 27, at Trinity United Methodist Church, 612 Farmington Falls Road. All are welcome.

HARTFORD — All are welcome to the Community Goodwill Potluck Supper served at 6 p.m. the first Friday of the month at the Town Hall. It is free.

The supper is hosted by Pastor Joyce and the youth groups.

Pies will be the featured dessert. Tickets are $8 for adults and $4 for children younger than 12.
