MECHANIC FALLS – Heaven gained another Harley Sunday as Robbie Allen Maheux, 48, gunned his through its gates. He was taken from us all too soon following a heart attack. Predeceased by his father, Laurier H. Maheux of Livermore Falls, the two are surely riding together once again.

“Don’t end up like the others, the same song and dance,” Robbie was a ‘Motorbreath’ and was always the life of the party. Rocking out on his bike, shooting pool competitively (and clearing the table whenever he did), enjoying a cold beer and a good meal (no pickles!) with his friends; these were all things he enjoyed, and he managed to bring a passion to anything he was doing. He was certainly “what you see is what you get” kind of guy and it was all too easy to see that he had a big heart through his infectious smile, straightforward attitude and unwavering loyalties.

Survived by his mother Sharon R. Maheux of Poland; the “love of his life” his daughter Brittina Julian and her husband Barrett; his sister Tanya Cunningham. He was very close to his nieces Kassandra Reed and Brooklyn Cunningham and nephew Joshua Cunningham; as well as his great-niece (to whom he was “Super Uncle”) Marley Jarvis. He was an incredibly proud “Pop” to his 14-month-old grandson Logan Julian, the two loved to share snacks.

Robbie touched a lot of lives and for many, it will seem far too long before he asks, “what’s shaking kid?” again.

Arrangements are under the care of Chandler Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 26 W. Dwinal Street, Mechanic Falls. Online condolences may be shared with his family at www.chandlerfunerals.com
