NORWAY — The First Universalist Church of Norway will host a traditional ham and bean supper at 6 p.m. Friday, Feb. 8, at the church, 479 Main St.

The menu will feature homemade desserts and will include ham, beans, coleslaw, rolls and beverages. This dinner is open to the public.

Tickets are $10; $20 family maximum. In case of inclement weather, the snow date will be Saturday, Feb. 9.

Tickets may be purchased at the church, from church members, or at the door prior to the meal.

LEWISTON — The Calvary United Methodist Church will have it’s monthly bean supper at 4:45 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 9.

The menu will consist of baked beans, hot dogs, salads, casseroles (including vegetarian), biscuits, brown bread and pies.

Cost is $8 for adults, $3 for children under the age of 10. Use the garden entrance on Bartlett Street. 

FARMINGTON — Old South First Congregational Church in Farmington will serve its monthly free community luncheon at noon Saturday, Feb. 9.

The menu includes Stan’s American chop suey, tossed salad, garlic bread and cake.

Delivery service will be available in Farmington. Call the church office at 207-778-0424 during the week or the church kitchen at 207-778-4438 on the morning of the luncheon to have a meal delivered.

MINOT — There will be a bean and casserole supper from 5 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 9, at the United Methodist Church, corner of Route 121 and Empire Road. 

There will be other menu options available as well. Cost is $7 for adults, $5 for children ages 7-12, and free for children under 7. Tickets will be available at the door.

MEXICO — A public supper will be served at 5 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 9, at the Mexico Congregational Church, UCC (the “Green Church”), 163 Main St.

The menu will include oven-fried chicken, vegetables and homemade pies. The price is $8 for adults and $3 for children under 12. Takeouts will be available at 5:30.

PARIS — There will be a Valentine’s Day Dinner Sponsored by AMVETS Ladies Auxiliary 777 with two seatings, at 5 and 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 9, at the Legion Hall, Church Street in South Paris.

There will be a four-course meal, which will include an appetizer; garden salad and rolls; choice of chicken cordon bleu or steak tips; choice of desserts.

Cost is $25 per couple. Reservations are encouraged.
