LEWISTON – Albert A. Bingelis, 86, of Lewiston, passed away on Jan. 10, 2019. He was born on March 5, 1932, the son of Antonas Bingelis and Helen Gregas, both of Lithuania.

Albert was born in Waltham, Mass. He served in the Navy. He then married his wife Pauline on May 17, 1958, who passed away on Oct. 16, 1999.

Albert was a sheet metal fabricator for 34 years. He loved fixing stuff and was quite good at it! He liked the New England Patriots and Nascar. His favorite driver was Kyle Busch. Albert liked to make people smile or laugh with one of his witty remarks.

Albert is survived by two daughters, Deborah and Darlene, three, sons Wayne, Christopher, and Glen; four grandchildren, Shannon, Sean, Katlin, and David.

The Bingelis family would like to thank Androscoggin Hospice Care and the Auburn Hospice House for making Albert’s last few hour comfortable.
