Recently, I had a nightmare that woke me up early in the morning. The nightmare was about how I was judged by the hat I was wearing and not by the content of my character. It seems that is what is beginning to happen in this country. I have heard how young men were judged for wearing swag and supporting the president — in Washington, D.C., no less.

I have to wonder if those kids would have even been approached if they were not wearing those hats. I doubt it. They were picked out of the crowd exactly because of those hats.

What does that say about this country, if a person cannot wear a piece of clothing without being maligned? I thought this was supposed to be the land of the free.

I bet if I buy a red hat without the MAGA lettering I would still get picked on. I might do that, just to see if I get any comments.

It is a sad day in America.

I would ask people to pray for this country, but that’s probably taboo.
