LISBON – Roger J. Bouchard, 82, of 24 Arrowhead Drive, Lisbon, died Thursday, Jan. 31, 2019, at Central
Maine Medical Center in Lewiston, with his family by his side. Born in Van Buren on Feb. 25, 1936, the son of Leon and Cecile Levesque Bouchard. He moved to the Lewiston area with his family as a boy, and was educated in local schools. Never afraid of working hard, Roger worked for the Bates Mill as a pipe-fitter and plumber for over 45 years, and then spent another 16 years working for United Ambulance. When he wasn’t working, he enjoyed time spent with family and friends, especially his weekly card game. Survivors include two daughters, Deborah and husband, Kyle Percy, of Fort Collins, Colo., Cathy Bouchard and her partner, Dan Horton, of Lewiston; a brother, Normand and wife, Alta, of Lisbon; a sister, Leola Bouthot of Lewiston; two grandchildren, Gannon and Owen Percy; and a longtime companion, Aline LePage of Auburn. Visitation will be held at the Albert & Burpee Funeral Home, 253 Pine Street, Lewiston, Maine, on Thursday, from 9-11 a.m., followed by a service at 11 a.m. Interment, St. Peter’s Cemetery.
