Richard Dahlquist of Lewiston works on a pot in his art studio on Park Street in downtown Lewiston on Tuesday. Dahlquist retired from teaching art after 31 years in Auburn public schools and now shares “Gallery at 5 Park” with his wife, painter Susan Broadbent. The 71-year-old artist started making pots 15 years ago and gave away 30 of them to people that came to visit last Saturday. (Sun Journal photo by Daryn Slover)
