Linton A. Quirrion

LIVERMORE – Linton A. Quirrion, 80, a resident of Livermore, died Monday, Feb. 18, 2019, at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born Aug. 2, 1938, in Livermore Falls, the son of Pearl (White) Quirrion. He was raised by his grandparents, Ethel and Pete Quirrion. He was a 1956 graduate of Livermore Falls High School. He proudly served in the U.S. Navy from 1956-1958. On June 24, 1961, he married Christina LaVoie. He worked in the paper industry for many years before retiring from Sappi Pulp and Paper Company, Hinckley in 2003. Linton and Tina were actively involved with their race horses for 55 years and were members of the Maine Harness Horsemen’s Association. They both loved spending time with their children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Christina “Tina” Quirrion of Livermore; his children, Jody Breton and husband, Larry of Livermore Falls, Susan Clary of Livermore Falls, Pamela Doyen and husband, James, of Livermore, Andrew Quirrion and wife, Karen, of Jay; grandchildren, Rebecca O’Keefe, Kathleen Gordon, Lauren Breton, Alyssa and Brianna Hamilton, Hayley and Brandon Doyen, Ashlee and Hunter Quirrion; great-grandchildren, Genevieve, Harper, Connor and Kellen O’Keefe and Sophie Gordon; several nieces and nephews who affectionately called him “Uncle Butch”.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Friday, Feb. 22, at FINLEY FUNERAL HOME, 15 Church St., Livermore Falls, Maine. Visitation will be held 4-7 p.m., Thursday at the funeral home.
