Carroll Allen Hutchinson

RUMFORD – Carroll Allen Hutchinson, 90, died Feb. 20, 2019, with his wife by his side. He resided on Hutchinson Rd., Peru, Maine.

Born in Rumford, on Nov. 24, 1928, he was the son of Norman and Velda (Richards) Hutchinson. Carroll graduated from Mexico High School. He worked at The Rumford Paper Mill. He was a self-employed logger and was a certified plate, pipe and pressure welder. He had been a deacon in the Dixfield Seventh-Day Adventist Church.

He was married to Katherine E. Wilson, July 27, 1980, who survives. Other survivors include children, Darrel Hutchinson (wife Jean, deceased), Robin Robbins and husband, Thomas Robbins, Norman Hutchinson, James Hutchinson and wife, Rachel; grandchildren, Sandra Bowman, Stacey Rodriguez, Kimberly Clark, Travis Robbins, Amelia Hutchinson; and great-grandchildren, Katey, Chase, Caleb, Celeste, Carrisa, Micha, Kalie, Aleandra and Xavier.

Predeceased by a wife, Dorothy Eva Moore.
