AREA — Four outstanding certified nursing assistants received their Medication Technician certificates at Maine Veterans Home on Wednesday, Feb. 27.

The Standardized Medication course conducted by Auburn Adult Education at Oxford Hills/Nezinscot Adult Education was a collaborative effort between both adult education programs and Maine Veterans Home.

Marcia Campbell, R.N., who brought 25 years of teaching experience to the program, spoke with much pride of graduating students Jennie Edwards, Chloe Kyllonen, Heidi Mailman, and Patricia Paar.

Tina Christophersen, director of Oxford Hills/Nezinscot Adult Education, gave a heartwarming speech and closing remarks highlighting everyone’s dedication to making the collaboration a success.

A light reception followed the ceremony to celebrate the students’ accomplishments.
