Kathy Hladik, deputy director of the Zadoc Long Free Library in Buckfield, disinfects a chair Wednesday afternoon. The library opens an hour later and closes an hour earlier than usual to allow staff to sanitize. It is open from 2 to 6 p.m. Monday and Wednesday; 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday; and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. The hats were donated by a library patron for anyone who needs one.
