AUGUSTA — Cony outlasted Mt. Blue, pulling away in the fourth quarter to earn a 52-42 boys basketball victory on Friday.
“It was a competitive game throughout, but Cony’s depth wore us down in the fourth quarter,” Cougars coach Troy Norton said.
Luke Briggs and Kyle Doulin led the Rams with 15 and 14 points, respectively.
The Cougars were paced by Chandler Briggs’ 13 points, and Evans Sterling contributed nine points and nine rebounds.
