Travis Steven Comeau

LITCHFIELD – With broken hearts, we announce that Travis Steven Comeau, 30, beloved father, son, brother, family member, and friend passed away unexpectedly from injuries sustained from a motor vehicle accident on Feb. 13, 2021.

Travis was born on Nov. 26, 1990, to Linda Thurlow and Normand Comeau Jr. Travis grew up in Litchfield, Maine, and remained in Litchfield into his adulthood.

Travis loved everyone, and he always made sure to tell you. He was kind, generous, and had an adventurous spirit. His beautiful blue eyes would melt your heart, and his smile would make a room feel complete. He enjoyed fishing, trucks, four-wheeling, and most of all, spending time with friends and family.

Travis shared a deep love for Kendra Baril. He and Kendra welcomed their son, Ryot Comeau, to their world, and his life was forever complete. Travis’s son, Ryot, was the center of his world. Ryot and Travis were inseparable, best friends. They enjoyed discing, video games, fishing, dirt biking, and just being together. Travis loved Ryot with all of his being, and we know this love he has for him will be felt immensely from heaven.

He shared a strong bond with his mother, Linda Thurlow, and his sister, or to Travis Sissa, Sonya Dulac. He was the baby boy of their worlds. He was also blessed to have two fathers in his life who loved him dearly, Normand Comeau Jr. and Donald Dulac.

Travis cherished his friendships. His friends Eric Davin and Kebrina Leclair he considered family. His best friends Michael Gallagher and Ben Estabrook were brothers to him, and Barry Estabrook was another father figure in his world.

Travis was loved by so many. We lost a bright light the day we lost Travis, but we know that although Travis is not here with us on earth, he will forever live in our hearts.

He is survived; by his son, Ryot Comeau, his mother, Linda Thurlow, and his sister, Sonya Dulac; his fathers, Normand Comeau Jr. and his significant other, Sally Davis; and Donald Dulac; brother, Daniel Comeau; step-sisters Hannah and Maranda Kenney; and Danielle Dulac; Paternal grandparents, Effie and George Thurlow, Normand Comeau Sr.; niece, Lydia Brough; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded by his grandmother, Ruth Comeau.

A Celebration of life is taking place on Feb. 20, 2021, at 1 p.m., at the Saracens Club House, 524 Auburn Road, Turner, Maine.
