If you meet the qualifications for getting a COVID-19 vaccine in Maine — currently those age 70 and older — you can try to get one at a number of places.

Be aware that vaccine supplies are still hard to come by and the system for receiving one can be confusing and difficult. Be patient and keep trying since the situation is steadily improving.

If you can get online, there is an up-to-date list of health care centers offering COVID vaccines at the Maine Office of the Governor’s website.

If you can’t rely on the internet to find or schedule an appointment for a vaccine, you can try phoning some of the major sources of vaccines in the region.

For the Central Maine Medical Center, Bridgton Hospital and Rumford Hospital, call 207-520-2917.

For St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center, Lewiston, call 207-755-3100.

For the MaineHealth vaccine clinic in Norway, call or text to 877-780-7545.
