TURNER – Nancy R. Harris, 84, of Turner passed away on Monday, March 1, 2021 in Lewiston. She was born on May 18, 1936 to Erlon and Mary (Wyman) Ryerson in Portland. Nancy graduated from DHS class of 1954.

Before retiring in 1996 Nancy was a RN working in the home health field and as a CPR instructor. Nancy was a founding member of the Turner rescue where she volunteered for over 25 years. She enjoyed family, knitting, gardening, and bird watching.

Preceding her in death was her parents.

Nancy is survived by her husband Chester Harris of Turner; sons Scott Harris of Washington and Mark Harris of Turner, daughter Cary Danforth of Lewiston; grandsons Nick and Jake Danforth; and sister Patricia Boyd of Connecticut.

Upon the family’s request, services will be held at a later date. Interment will be at the State of Maine Veteran’s Cemetery.
