Richard A. Vincent Jr.
AUBURN – Richard A Vincent Jr., 51, of Lewiston died unexpectedly early Thursday morning.
He was born in Portland on July 4, 1969, the son of Richard A. and Velver Stubbs Vincent Sr. He graduated high school in Portland and for the last 26 years worked at Shaw’s, most recently as the night crew leader in Auburn. He loved taking his boat and family members and go fishing. He enjoyed hunting, golfing with his father-in-law, vacationing, he was a jokester, who loved to laugh and was known for his pranks. He was a hardworking, dependable, do anything for you type of person. His greatest love was his family, wife, children, parents, granddaughter, siblings and extended family. On June 29, 1996, he married Denise Bragdon.
He is survived by the family he loved: His wife of Lewiston; his parents of West Paris; daughter, Sarah and her significant other Josh LeBlanc of Lewiston; son, Shawn and his significant other Zoe Trussell of Monmouth; granddaughter, Olivia; sisters, Velver Jett of Weld and Mary and Jimmy Wolfe of Peru; a brother, Mike and Faith of Oxford; several nieces and nephews and grandnieces and nephews; a brother from another mother, his best friend, Harold “ Phinny” Marshall; and his grand fur babies, Willow and Kayah.
Family and friends may attend a time of visitation on Saturday, March 27, from 12-2 p.m., at the Chandler Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 26 West Dwinal Street, Mechanic Falls, a private family funeral/ by invite will be held at 3 p.m.
For those who are not family, the service will be live streamed on Richard’s obituary page at http://www.chandlerfunerals.com where you may also leave condolences for his family. We will be following CDC guidelines, masks are required, social distancing and 50 people in the building. Interment will be later in the spring at Maple Grove Cemetery.
