Police arrest suspect in shooting near Poirier’s Market in Lewiston

LEWISTON — Nasir K. White, 21 of Lewiston was arrested Tuesday in a shooting near Poirier’s Market at Walnut and Pierce streets, according to Lewiston police.

White is charged with reckless conduct with a dangerous weapon in Monday’s shooting.

Officers said the investigation is ongoing and police anticipate more arrests.

White was being held Tuesday at the Androscoggin County Jail in Auburn, according to police.
