Katherine L. Harnett Jones
LEWISTON – Katherine L. Harnett Jones of 130 Prospect Ave., Lewiston, passed away April 5, 2021, following a three month cancer illness. She was born in Lewiston on June 11, 1941, to Norman D. and Vesta V. Towle Harnett.
She was comforted and sustained during her illness by her rock solid belief in God’s presence, and in life after death.
She was predeceased by her parents, her son, Norman Hall, her sister Marjorie, and her husband, Arthur Jones.
She is survived by son, Thor Hall of New Gloucester, daughter, Melonie Hall of Alfred, six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, by cousin, Nancy and Walter Armstrong, and by daughters-in-law Pam and Chandra; by her lifelong Auburn Seventh Day Adventist Church family, notably, her every morning Nurse Angel, Carol; and her Good Samaritan neighbor and friend, Randy. Her family is indebted to all the Nurse Angels at Androscoggin Home Healthcare and Hospice. Her family will assemble on or about her birthday in June to honor her life.
A service will be held at 2 p.m., on Saturday April 24, at Seventh-Day Adventist Church in Auburn, Maine. Online condolences may be sent to http://www.funeralalternatives.net.
