NORWAY – Patricia Maberry passed away on March 31, 2021, just nine days after her 82nd birthday.

Patty was warm and down-to-earth, with a quick smile and a great laugh. She loved winter time, and even in her eighties competed to be the first to make a snow angel. Her collection of elephants was legendary, as was her love of chocolate. More than anything, she was generous, and gave as much as she could to anyone who needed help. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and church community.

Patty had five daughters with her first husband. When she married again, she gained three more daughters and a son.

She is survived by her childhood sweetheart and beloved husband of 46 years, Bob Maberry; daughters Kathy (Maberry) Tice, Diane (Maberry) Jack, Marjorie (Brant) Osterhout, Nancy (Brant) Price, Linda (Brant) Segner, and Kathy Brant; and son Mike Maberry. Patty was also blessed with 15 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her daughters, Julie Brant and Karen (Maberry) Albert, and her sister, Sandra (Recklein) Glorch.

Friends and family are invited to remember Patty at a memorial service on May 1 at 12 p.m., noon, at Hosanna Church, 109 School House Road in Oxford.
