Rita M. Cushman
LIVERMORE – Rita M. Cushman, 74, a resident of Livermore, passed away Wednesday morning, April 21, 2021 at her home. She was born Dec. 29, 1946 in Farmington, the daughter of William Pelletier and Valerie (Greenleaf) Houle. She attended school in Wilton.Rita worked for International Paper Company and Verso in Jay, where she was a member of the the ¼ Century Club. She enjoyed playing bingo and attending county fairs.She is survived by her daughter Christina “Tina” Wilbur of Virginia; her sister Anita Wood of Livermore Falls, her brother Larry Houle and his significant other Laurie Mitchell of Jay, and Rita’s significant other, Bill Hall of Livermore; and several grandchildren and great- grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents; her son Richard Sears II; and her brothers Franklin Pelletier and Raymond A. Houle, Jr.A graveside service will be held at Lakeview Cemetery, Route 2, Wilton at a later date.
