
Winthrop’s Kennebec Land Trust’s staff will present a Winthrop Adult Education course, “Introduction to Conservation Burial Grounds,” from 4 to 5 p.m. Wednesday, May 4, at Baldwin Hill on Baldwin Hill Road in Fayette.
Staff at Family First Funeral Homes will also answer questions about the importance of planning ahead for conservation burial and their partnership with the land trust.
The trust plans soon to open the region’s first conservation burial ground on Baldwin Hill.
