Gregory “Greg” B. Cook

LEWISTON – Gregory “Greg” B. Cook, 74, a resident of Auburn, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, March 31, 2021 at Marshwood Center following a brief illness.

He was born in Skowhegan on Feb. 2, 1947, son of Roland and Maybelle (Burrill) Cook. Greg attended Skowhegan Schools and in 1966 enlisted in the U.S. Army, serving until his honorable discharge in 1976. He was a very proud Vietnam Veteran.

He went on to work in retail stores including Bradlees, K-Mart and Wal-Mart, ultimately retiring from Wal-Mart. Greg enjoyed the Boston Red Sox, the Washington Redskins, Antique Auto Shows and everything Star Trek.

Greg was predeceased by his parents. He will be greatly missed by his good friend, Gary Landry and neighbor, Tony Jipson.

No services to be held as Greg has been laid to rest at the Veterans’ Cemetery in Augusta.
